Suicidal Tendencies

“ When the world says give up, hope whispers…Try it one more time.”― Unknown

I was wondering how I could best describe suicidal tendencies which made me think about the feeling of being defeated. Nothing else exists. Feeling a rush of adrenaline throughout your body, and maybe feeling sick. You might have accepted the idea of death. Feeling alone, feeling lost, trapped, it feels like your head might explode but there is no physical pain. It feels like there is no other way, there is nothing else you can do and no one is able to help you. You might also feel angry, you want to scream or to cry. It feels like there are no other options at all…Or you might be terrified and in excruciating mental pain.
I will ask you to bear with me. You’ve still got things to do here, it’s not your time yet. You don’t have to deal with this alone.

There are many reasons why people contemplate their own death, but I can assure you it is not an easy decision to take. What is extremely powerful and takes a lot of courage is when people decide to make the necessary changes within themselves to break through those times. Once the new coping mechanisms are well embedded in your mind and body, you can have a successful and balanced life.

Reasons for suicidal tendencies:

  • Depression, mood disorders, mental disorders

  • Physical illness, chronic pain

  • Financial issues

  • Relationship issues

  • Unemployment

  • Unplanned pregnancy

  • Bullying, abuse, violence
